PermianChain Technologies is a Toronto-based start-up that is focused on bringing efficiencies of the blockchain to the oil and gas and digital asset mining sector.
Trading energy resources is currently complex, slow and fundamentally inefficient. Agreements are cumbersome and difficult to transfer without adding costs and there are so many different steps involved in the process of getting from upstream through mid-stream to downstream, that the knock-on effect of delays at any point can be significant and costly.
The PermianChain platform delivers an open, secure, transparent and direct digital energy marketplace powered by blockchain. It will increase the efficiency of energy trading, make ownership more transparent and help the entire energy sector move more efficiently. PermianChain focuses on wasted and stranded natural gas assets to unlock value from untapped energy resources that are converted into electrictity to power blockchain data centers (i.e., bitcoin mining).
Our mission is to operate a Blockchain Platform-as-a-Service (BPaaS) for tokenizing natural gas to create a digital energy currency marketplace and for issuing digital-assets against proven natural resources, enabling stakeholders to enjoy increased transparency, efficiency, liquidity and profitability.
